25+ Years of Professional Experience.
Gena Golden is a Clinical Social Worker and the Clinical Director of Inner Coach Counseling. LLC, a virtual integrative psychotherapy practice located in Atlanta, Georgia comprised of mental health and holistic healing professionals.
Mrs. Golden’s work Is informed by Mind-Body Therapies, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Multigenerational Trauma, Liberation Focused and Racial Healing principles. Her work is rooted in mindfulness, social justice, anti-oppressive, anti-colonial, and liberatory healing practices for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) communities.
She believes that centering the healing and empowerment of marginalized groups is needed to help heal the effects of oppression and trauma.
Mrs. Golden received her Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) from Temple University in 1991 and her Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Clark Atlanta University School of Social Work in 1993.
Mrs. Golden is the creator of 2 card decks, including ‘Slay Your Inner Critic’ and ‘Slay Your Inner Racist’ . These card decks were created to help stimulate dialogue, educate and spark action to help eradicate oppressive thinking and behavioral practices.
